“The focus is the warrior. Not the weapon. We want to spend time with the warrior. This is suppose to be about the warrior and not his tools. Their abilities are what’s important.” These are the words used to describe the up and coming 3rd season of Spike TV’s Deadliest Warrior. Words uttered by the newest co-host on the show who is considered one of the deadliest warrior’s of modern day combat. With a background of over 25 years experience in a plethora of martial arts and a 10 year Navy Seal veteran, former FutureWeapons host Richard “Mack” Machowicz is in a unique position to bring such focus to such a unique show, and returning host and Bio Medical Engineer Geoff Desmoulin couldn’t agree with his new co-host more. Listening to Mack and Geoff talk about the show and what they want to accomplish with it this season, their excitement is palpable. And with a myriad of new toys, fresh eyes, and a slightly new focus and direction, it is no big surprise as to why. Having been given the privilege of previewing the first couple episodes of the season it is clear that this season will speak for itself.
